The Failure of Legacy Alternatives: Why Schools Switched to MyEdu
Before discovering MyEdu, most of our partner schools navigated a exhausting cycle of broken software promises. Some invested heavily in generic ERP software imported from abroad, only to find it completely unusable because it could not handle Ethiopian morning half-day shifts, could not compute Ministry-weighted Continuous Assessment, and lacked local payment methods.
Other schools tried managing operations with fragile Excel sheets shared across desktop computers. A single corrupted hard drive or accidental formula deletion routinely erased months of attendance or exam marks right before parent consultation day. MyEdu was built specifically to solve these chronic institutional vulnerabilities.
